What helps us most

  • A state that announced a new weekly maximum or minimum: name the program and the agency page, with its effective date.
  • A formula we read wrong: quote the statute or the agency page that says otherwise.
  • A program that changed its weeks, its waiting period or its premium.
  • Embedding the calculator on an HR, union, library or legal aid page: the code is on the embed page.

What we cannot do

We do not file claims, read your wage records, appeal a decision or tell you whether you qualify. For your own claim, the state agency named on each page of this site is the only one that decides.

Estimates apply the formula and the 2026 caps of each state to the pay you enter. The agency computes your benefit from the wages your employers reported, which can differ; its letter, not this page, sets your amount.
